Land Maintenance Programs

Merchants has many years of experience in compiling land maintenance programs for improving usability and productivity.

Having a productive property requires ongoing maintenance and establishing a long term maintenance program is cost effective.

For maintenance programs, Merchants carry out an assessment of the land and, where applicable, consult with an agronomist to devise a plan with a specific outcome.

The assessment of land includes consideration of continued management of existing stock to minimise down time. The plan can be set over a period of time, most commonly annually for a period of 5 years. For example 20% of land can be improved/ maintained each year for 5 years until entire property is producing optimum use.
